Voluptuous breast tale: In the '40s, '50s and first half of the '60s, pulp fiction paperbacks could be found in all the finer skid-row drugstores, in racks next to the cheap sunglasses and faded postcards. These novels were loaded with shady guys, hussies, bad girls, spoiled innocents, bums, crooks, hookers, heroines, spies and private eyes like Mickey Spillane's ground and head breaking dick, Mike Hammer, all looking for voluptuous breast.

The covers were great and usually the best part: lurid, nasty, forbidden and sleazy. Waiting in a gloomy downtown bus station at 10PM? This is what they used to read for a mere 50 cents while drinking a 25 cent cup of rotgut coffee. We wondered what Julia would have looked like if she had modeled back then for these wonderfully seedy covers. So one of our SCORELAND art directors got busy.
